The man and the insect

What's the difference between a man and an insect? Even though the man knows the insect is harmless, he still tries to step on it out of fear and/or boredom. The insect, on the other hand, has no intention on trying to kill the man. It simply continues to do what it does best in life. I, ladies and gentlemen, am an insect.
